The Public Relations and Media Department of the General Fire Force stated that a report was received to the Central Operations Department this evening, Thursday, stating that a fire broke out in the basement of a building in the Farwaniya area.

The Fire Department stated that the Central Operations Department directed firefighting teams from the Farwaniya and Sabhan centers to the site of the fire. When the teams arrived, it was found that the fire was in the basement of a building used as a carpentry and wood storage. The fire was controlled and extinguished without any significant injuries.
