Civil Aviation: We expect more than 6 million passengers during the summer season at Kuwait International Airport

Today, Sunday, the General Administration of Civil Aviation expected that the movement of passengers to and from Kuwait International Airport will reach 6001,221 passengers during the summer season for this year, distributed among 2,994,786 departing and 3,006,435 arriving in the country.

The Deputy Director-General for Planning and Projects Affairs, Saad Al-Otaibi, the official spokesperson for the administration, confirmed to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) the readiness of “Civil Aviation” in all operational sectors for this season, in coordination with all government agencies, airlines and ground service providers operating at Kuwait International Airport.

Al-Otaibi expected to operate about 43,156 flights during the summer season between June 1 and September 30, distributed among 21,578 departing and 21,578 incoming flights.

He stated that Civil Aviation stressed on all airlines and ground service companies to raise the levels of readiness and increase the number of employees to improve services provided to passengers and raise operating efficiency during the summer season.
