The electric indicator announces the start of the peak season with high loads

The electrical loads began to witness a noticeable rise with the rise in temperatures that reached 44 degrees Celsius, and the electrical indicator recorded yesterday a rise of 13900 megawatts in light of the presence of a reserve of about 1100 megawatts, heralding the start of the peak season, which the ministry usually prepares for at the beginning of June from every year. Sources said that the electrical production is reassuring and that maintenance operations have been carried out on various stations, whether production or transmission and distribution, pointing out that higher loads are expected in the current period and loads can reach more than 16,500 megawatts, according to the measurements approved by the ministry.
