Austria: Allow entry to those coming from Kuwait with a valid visa

The Austrian Embassy in the country announced that, as of February 22, travelers from Kuwait and Bahrain can enter Austria if they have a valid visa, and they can submit a vaccination certificate stating that they have been fully vaccinated, or they can prove recovery from Covid infection for a period not exceeding 180 days, or submit A negative test result for a corona examination that is no more than 72 hours old.

In a statement today, the embassy stated that Austria accepts vaccination certificates with a QR code issued by the ministries of health in the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

They clarified that if travelers cannot meet these requirements, they must register online at (https://entry.ptc.gv.at) and apply a 10-day quarantine, which may be terminated no later than the fifth day after Entry, by submitting a negative test (PCR), children under 12 years of age do not need to provide proof such as vaccination certificate, proof of recovery or PCR examination.
