Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Ahmed Al-Mansour issued a ministerial decision assigning the Assistant Undersecretary for Residency Affairs Major General Anwar Al-Barjas to perform the duties of Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, succeeding the retired First Lieutenant-General Sheikh Faisal Al-Nawaf, whose legal service ended this morning.

Informed sources told that Major General Al-Barjas will be granted the rank of Lieutenant-General at the beginning of next week, and will assume the position of Undersecretary of the Interior on his own, noting that Al-Barjas’s legal service at the Ministry of Interior will expire in October of next year 2023.

The sources indicated that the post of Assistant Undersecretary for Residence Affairs will be settled next week.
