Meteorology: A state of unstable weather

The Meteorological Department said this evening, Saturday, that the country is currently affected by a state of unstable weather accompanied by moderate rains that will be heavy in some areas, gradually intensifying, reaching their peak at dawn tomorrow, Sunday, and continuing until noon.

The weather forecast observer at the Administration, Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the weather maps indicate that the country will be affected by the passage of a cold, polar, winter air front that includes most parts of the Arabian Peninsula, which leads to the multiplication of low, medium and sometimes cumulus clouds.

Al-Qarawi expected that the amounts of rain will be heavy, with hail falling sometimes, especially in the eastern and southern regions of the country.

He stated that this weather is also expected to continue until late Sunday evening, as clouds and chances of rain will diminish until Monday morning.
