Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 609 new infections with the emerging coronavirus “Covid-19” in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 418,332.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that 114 cases of recovery were recorded, bringing the total number of people recovered to 411902, indicating that the percentage of total recovery cases out of the total injuries amounted to 98.5 percent.
Al-Sanad added that no deaths were recorded as a result of the injury, bringing the total number of registered cases to 2,468.
He stated that the number of those receiving medical care in the intensive care departments amounted to five cases, while the total number of cases that were confirmed to have been infected and are still receiving the necessary care, and the total number of cases in the “Covid-19” wards reached 27.
He added that the number of swabs that were conducted during the same period amounted to 18,767, bringing the total to 6002,841 tests, noting that the percentage of infections for the number of these swabs amounted to 3.2 percent.
