The new Egyptian ambassador arrives in the country

Today, the new Egyptian ambassador, Osama Shaltout, arrived in the country to succeed Tariq Al-Qoni in this position.

Shaltout was received by officials from the Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a number of heads of diplomatic missions, in addition to members of the Egyptian embassy.

It is noteworthy that Shaltout was born in 1966, and joined the diplomatic corps after graduating from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science. He worked in the General Court of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and assumed the position of Assistant Foreign Minister, and also held the position of Director of Non-Governmental Organizations Affairs, and served as his country’s ambassador to Khartoum, then became the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Sudan and South Sudan Affairs.
