High ticket prices prevent passengers from returning from India

The historic high fares of one-way tickets from India to Kuwait have hindered the return of Indians from India to Kuwait.

Fares ranging from KD700 to KD850 from destinations in Mumbai, Coach, Hyderabad and Chennai, India, are one-way return flights in the first two weeks of September after DGCA announced a direct flight from India

Indian airlines, like both Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways, are assigned about 2,800 passengers each week, bringing the total number of arrivals in India to about 5,600.
