The seventh batch of Pakistani medical staff will arrive in Kuwait, tomorrow morning, to support the national teams in addressing the “Corona” pandemic.
Informed health sources revealed that the new Pakistani batch includes 245 medical and nursing staff specialized in intensive care, anesthesia, chest diseases, respiratory diseases, and infection control. The sources indicated that the competent authorities in the Ministry of Health are working to complete the entry features for Pakistani medical personnel in the coming hours.
She explained that the recruitment of crews will be through the “Lukum” system, as their services will be used for a period of 3 months, after which their appointment will be extended for an additional 3 months, provided that the Ministry appoints them after this period, after the end of the contract between them and them, with the aim of continuing to use their services in dealing with for the pandemic.
It is noteworthy that the dispatch of Pakistani medical staff comes within the framework of the health cooperation agreement between the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to combat the pandemic, which provides for sending teams of doctors, nurses and technicians with previous experience in facing disasters and epidemics, to be distributed to all health facilities in Kuwait to combat “Covid- 19
