Corona virus cases and their ratio to swabs continued to decline, recording 417 new infections, or 3.3 percent to swabs, and cases in intensive care decreased to 214.
Yesterday, Friday, the spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, announced the registration of 417 new infections with the emerging coronavirus (Covid 19) in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 405,859.
Al-Sanad told Kuwait News Agency that 3 deaths were also recorded, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,383.
He added that 602 cases of recovery were recorded, bringing the total number of people recovered to 395,950, indicating that the percentage of total recovery cases out of the total injuries amounted to 97.56 percent.
He stated that the number of people receiving medical care in the intensive care departments amounted to 214 cases, while the total number of confirmed cases and still receiving the necessary care reached 7,526, and the total number of cases in the “Covid 19” wards reached 493.
He stated that the number of swabs that were conducted during the same period amounted to 12621, bringing the total of examinations to 357,8363, indicating that the percentage of infections for the number of these swabs amounted to 3.30 percent.
