Auctions are back… fish prices are reduced

The Council of Ministers decided to resume work in auctions, while adhering to the health and preventive requirements in force in the Ministry of Health, as of next Sunday, provided that attendance at auctions is limited to those who are vaccinated only.

The head of the Kuwaiti Federation of Fishermen, Zaher Al-Suwayan, told that this positive step contributes to saving local fish and lowering its prices,” noting that “re-auctions will cancel the pricing of the Ministry of Commerce for selling fish, and therefore prices will depend on the free auction.”
