Stranded expatriates start arriving in Kuwait

Since the early hours of Sunday, and after the Cabinet’s decision to allow vaccinated expatriates to enter the country, came into force, planes flocked to Kuwait International Airport with hundreds of arrivals on board who arrived from multiple destinations, the first of which were from Turkey and Doha.

As stated by civil aviation officials, and in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Interior and Acting Minister of Defense Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali, the procedures for arriving and exiting the airport were easy and easy and took place in a short time amid praise from the expatriates who expressed their happiness to return to Kuwait after a long separation imposed by the Corona pandemic.

The majority of the expatriates who arrived today are from Arab countries, including Lebanon, Jordan and other European countries.

The passengers have completed all the necessary procedures, such as getting approval for their vaccine certificate from MoH, PCR, etc. The procedure at the Kuwait airport was smooth, the passengers commented.

Other flights scheduled to arrive in Kuwait today are from Dubai and Doha. Meanwhile, the procedure for the entry of Indians is still not clear whether a 14-day quarantine in a third country is required or not.
