Two civilians were killed, and three others were seriously injured, as a result of a terrible traffic accident that occurred yesterday on Al-Wafra Road towards Kuwait City.
In the details, the Director of Public Relations and Information in the General Fire Force, Colonel Muhammad Al-Gharib, said that the General Fire Brigade Operations Room received a report the day before yesterday that a traffic accident had occurred on Al-Wafra Road, and that there were people crammed as a result of the accident, indicating that upon receiving the report, it was directed Al-Wafra fire station to Al-Balagh site.
Al-Gharib added that upon the arrival of the firefighters, it became clear that the accident was a four-wheel-drive vehicle overturning, and the presence of 5 people crammed inside it.
He pointed out that the firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to rescue the crowded people, and it was found that two of them died, and 3 others were seriously injured.
Al-Gharib stated that firefighters delivered the injured to emergency medical technicians, while the deceased were transferred to the Forensic Medicine Department by forensic officers.
