Today, Sunday, the Kuwaiti embassy in China announced the start of the “breakfast fasting” project under the auspices of the General Secretariat of Endowments in the city of “Guoyuan” in “Qinghai” province, northwest China.

The embassy stated in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the humanitarian project came at the expense of the philanthropists in the State of Kuwait, under the supervision of the embassy advisor, Badr Al-Adwani, and by the implementation of the Charitable Society in the city of “Guoyuan” in the province of “Qinghai”.

They added that this week, 717 Ramadan food baskets will be distributed to the needy individuals and families residing in the city of “Guoyuan” and the villages within “Qinghai” province, 1630 kilometers from the Chinese capital, Beijing.

She explained that the Ramadan food basket contains rice, flour, oil, tea and sugar, indicating that the people of Kuwait have been revered since ancient times to love goodness and giving and extend a helping hand, especially in the holy month of Ramadan.
