Yesterday, Sunday, the Kuwait Red Crescent Society distributed five thousand Ramadan food baskets to Palestinian refugees in Lebanon on the occasion of the holy month.
The head of the Red Crescent mission in Lebanon, Dr. Musaed Al-Anzi, said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency, “These baskets will benefit 25,000 people, and they are gifts from the Kuwaiti people to the brothers of the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.”
He stressed the continuation of Kuwaiti humanitarian contributions annually, especially in this holy month, “in an effort to alleviate as much as possible the suffering of the Palestinian brothers, especially in light of the difficult economic and health conditions they are going through in Lebanon.”
Al-Enezi affirmed that the association, in addition to its humanitarian activities, will continue in the holy month of the holy month of relief and humanitarian efforts for “the needy Lebanese and Syrian refugees in various Lebanese regions.”
In turn, the representative of the Palestinian embassy, Consul Ramzi Mansour, thanked the Kuwaiti leadership and people for this “generous assistance that carries many meanings in the blessed month and which would alleviate the difficult living and health conditions experienced by Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.”
The representative of the Kuwaiti embassy in Lebanon participated in the delivery and distribution of Ramadan baskets, the first secretary, Abdul Aziz Al-Omi, and the Director General of the Palestinian Red Crescent in Lebanon, Dr. Samer Shehadeh.
