They indicated that the Ministry plans to target some malls and commercial markets, through the presence of mobile units for those wishing to take the vaccines, after the completion of the complete vaccination of workers and employees of associations and banks, pointing to the importance of registration and the demand for vaccinations by all the target groups.
Regarding the possibility of going to vaccinate expatriate workers in their dwellings in the workers’ areas, officials pointed out the difficulty of implementing this in the current period for several reasons, including that vaccinations are available to everyone, and through health centers near the residence of that worker, in addition to the presence of mobile units currently in other field sites. Noting that the ministry has so far succeeded in vaccinating about 19.5% of the country’s population.
On the other hand, the head of the Supreme Advisory Committee to confront Corona, Dr. Khaled Al-Jarallah, confirmed that there is a relative decrease in the positive field surveys in the governorates, with the exception of areas for investment housing and expatriates.
