For his part, Director General of the Association, Badr Al-Mutairi, said that Ramadan baskets were distributed to needy families, orphans, widows and other poor and needy people in cooperation with the support of the General Secretariat of Endowments, indicating that more than 10 thousand people benefited from food baskets that amounted to 2000 large baskets integrated with a carton of chicken and 20 A kilo of rice.
He pointed out that the distribution takes place in two phases, the first phase in which more than a thousand baskets were distributed, benefiting 5,000 people, and next week the second batch will be distributed in the same numbers, indicating that the food basket is sufficient for a whole family for the duration of the blessed month of Ramadan.
For his part, Secretary of the Society Anwar Al-Rashidi said that since the beginning of the Corona crisis, the association has been distributing food baskets to all prohibited areas in Kuwait, and more than one million people have benefited from them, indicating that financial checks will also be distributed to foster and needy families.
