Yesterday, the Red Crescent Society announced that it will distribute daily breakfast meals to about 2,000 workers and security guards in a number of regions and institutions as part of its annual “Iftar Al-fasting” program.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Association Anwar Al-Hassawi told “KUNA” that the “Iftar Al-Saem” program comes within a group of activities that reflect the society’s social responsibility, which it is keen on especially in the holy month of Ramadan.

Al-Hassawi added that this step comes as an affirmation of the human values ​​and the true spirit of the Holy Month, and an appreciation for those workers who lack the family atmosphere, considering it as part of the association’s activities aimed at creating more intimacy and rapprochement between members of society.
