The General Administration of Civil Aviation issued a decision to oblige all passengers coming from the countries from which flights are banned, to the mandatory institutional quarantine, as of February 21, in a local hotel for a period of (14) days at their own expense.
The administration also affirmed in its circular issued to airlines operating at Kuwait International Airport that it is not permitted to board the plane for passengers coming to Kuwait, except after registering on the “Kuwait Traveler” platform.
The administration added that the incoming passengers bear the cost of conducting (2) PCR tests, provided that the cost is collected through the “Kuwait Traveler” platform or the airlines and ground service providers. The administration also pointed out that all passengers coming from countries that are not prohibited from flying from them are obligated to enter the mandatory institutional quarantine in a local hotel for a period of (7) days at their own expense, provided that the quarantine period is completed for another (7) days in home quarantine.
