The Ministry of Defense announced today, Monday, the arrival of the medical evacuation plane of the Air Force, carrying a number of sick citizens and their companions sent for treatment abroad by the ministries of defense and health in the friendly Kingdom of Thailand.

In a press release, the ministry said that the evacuation plane was equipped with the latest medical devices and equipment, in addition to the specialized medical staff from the Ministry’s Medical Services Authority, with the aim of caring for patients during their return trip to the country.

They added that all medical examinations scheduled for the passengers upon their arrival, according to the standards set by the health authorities, were carried out by the medical personnel of the Medical Services Authority at the Ministry of Defense, indicating that the returning patients were transferred to Jaber Armed Forces Hospital and some hospitals affiliated with the Ministry of Health.

They stated that this trip comes under the instructions of the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Khaled Saleh Al-Sabah, noting that the head of the patients’ recipients and their companions at the moment of their arrival to the country was the head of the Medical Services Authority at the Ministry of Defense, Dr. Abdullah Mishaal Al-Sabah, in addition to a number of Air Force officers and the Medical Services Authority
