The Public Authority for Civil Information announced the extension of the working hours to receive the civil ID in the main building in South Surra, to become from six in the morning until eight in the evening continuously for a period of 14 hours.

The authority said in a press statement today that this comes to facilitate the receipt of the card for citizens and residents and to reduce the overcrowding in devices so that the authority can store new cards.

In its statement, the authority called on citizens and residents to ensure that the card is ready before heading to collect it through the authority’s website or by calling 1889988.
