Diplomatic sources confirmed to Al-Qabas that Kuwait will receive about 20 remains and a box for their belongings from Iraq today, Wednesday, adding that it is likely that there will be Kuwaiti prisoners among them.

The sources said, “There is no specific or confirmed number of the remains of Kuwaiti citizens until now until the full details of the matter are reviewed, and DNA will be examined to determine their identities in the Ministry of Interior.”

The sources explained that the examination process will take from one to two months to announce their identity due to the process of collecting the remains and identifying the genetic fingerprint. The sources indicated that the efforts of the Foreign Ministry did not and will not stop to find the remains of the last prisoner and missing in Iraq
