Kuwait Municipality announced today, Sunday, the closure of 33 commercial stores, in the Mubarakiya district, for violating the list of stores, advertisements in the municipality, and health requirements.
The head of the Inspection Department of the Department of Auditing and Follow-up of Municipal Services, Ayesh Al-Mutairi, explained in a press statement that the inspectors monitoring the shops and advertisements during the morning and evening periods carried out field trips to the stores in the Mubarakiyah area to ensure the extent of application of the conditions and controls.
Al-Mutairi added that the supervisory teams searched for the extent of their commitment to the precautionary measures and procedures by wearing gloves, masks, and physical spacing in implementation of the Ministry of Health instructions, noting that these tours resulted in the liberation of 33 violations.
He called on shop owners to warn workers to commit to wearing gloves, masks, and physical spacing, in order to ensure their safety and the safety of the public, in addition to adhering to the shop regulations and advertisements to avoid violation and fine.
For its part, the municipality’s public relations department called in a similar statement citizens and residents to call the hotline (139) or to communicate via the municipality’s accounts on social media or via WhatsApp (24727732) in case of any complaints related to the municipality.
