An official source for local Arabic newspaper Al-Qabas denied that a decision was issued to allow and exclude the entry of doctors, teachers and engineers into Kuwait International Airport from the 31 countries included in the decision to ban commercial aviation.

The source emphasized that the decision to prohibit commercial aviation for countries is only for “travel destination”, whether departing or arriving, and does not include its citizens residing in countries allowed to enter Kuwait. He added, “If a citizen of the prohibited countries is present in a country permitted to enter Kuwait, he is not prevented from entering the country, provided that they reside in those countries for more than 14 days, and they abide by the health requirements required to enter Kuwait
